Awards Assembly
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the awards assembly for grading period 2 will be postponed to Friday, December 5.

2009-2010 Fifth Grade Registration
The open registration period will end on Thursday, November 20 @ 12:30 PM for any parent wishing to register a child for the fifth grade next year. Those that currently have a sibling attending BASIS this year are still required to submit the complete registration packet during the designated times. A parent or authorized person must bring in the packet. Please refrain from sending this important document with the sibling currently attending BASIS.

Teacher Gift Policy
Staff members, including teachers, are prohibited from accepting gifts of more than a nominal value from parents/guardians. Please help our staff comply with this regulation and abstain from gift-giving even during the holiday season. If you would like to show your appreciation for a job well done, please donate through the Boosters. They can earmark donations for individual classrooms or activities, if you wish. Please contact the Booster President. We encourage donations to the school and as a 501(c)(3) corporation, your donations to us are tax deductible. As a charter school, we and also eligible to receive donations for our extracurricular and science programs that count as tax credits under Arizona law.

Tax Credit
Please help support the extracurricular program by contributing your Tax Credit to the general fund. This opportunity can also be extended to family members and friends who reside in the state of Arizona. Last year, BASIS friends and families contributed over $60,000. We would like to exceed that amount. You may download the Tax Credit Donation form from Virtual Backpack. For more information regarding Tax Credit, you may e-mail Danielle Calo, dcalo@basisscottsdale.org.
