Grady Bailey was elected Co-Treasurer at the Boosters meeting on October 21, 2008.
Congratulations, Grady!

Mark Vange has volunteered to co-chair our Teacher Appreciation committee with Cecily Whiteside. Thank you, Mark!

Volunteer Coordinator – We Need You!
We are still seeking a volunteer coordinator to help us place volunteers onto committees that interest them, follow up with volunteers to make sure everyone is utilized, and to help keep our volunteers informed. It should not be a very time -consuming position, it just requires some computer and e-mail abilities, so please consider volunteering. Send an e-mail to info@azbulldogboosters.org for more information.

Our next Boosters meeting will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. We will discuss Boosters business from 6:00pm – 6:30pm.

From 6:30pm – 7:30pm, a group of Senior Management students in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University will put on a presentation for parents in association with Partnership for a Drug Free America.  Partnership for a Drug Free America’s goal is to help inform Arizona’s youth, as well their parents and teachers, about the dangers of drug use.  A big part of carrying out this goal is to give presentations to local schools and youth organizations.  The ASU students who are coming to speak to us are working this semester with Partnership for a Drug Free America to help them reach and educate more parents about teenage drug use. The presentation will focus on information on how to talk to kids about dugs, signs your child may be using drugs, and statistics and facts on teenage drug-use.

We encourage everyone to attend! Please send a quick e-mail to info@azbulldogboosters .org if you know in advance that you will be attending, so that we may plan for ample space and materials for the presentation.
